Here’s what to expect during your appointment:
1. Consultation
Your stylist evaluates your hair’s density, texture, and condition, then discusses your goals (length, volume, color, or all three). We perform a professional color match and recommend the best method for your lifestyle.
2. Custom Order
Once we’ve chosen the method and color, we order your extensions. Because every set is custom-matched, expect 1-2 weeks between your consultation and install appointment.
3. Installation
On install day, your stylist sections your hair and carefully attaches the extensions using the method you chose. Most installs take 2-4 hours depending on the amount of hair.
4. Blend + Style
After install, we cut and style the extensions so they blend seamlessly with your natural hair. You’ll leave with finished, styled hair and at-home care instructions.
Total time from first consultation to finished install is typically 1-2 weeks. Maintenance appointments (move-ups, reinstalls) take 1-2 hours every 6-10 weeks depending on method.

Tape-In Extensions
Tape-in extensions are the fastest install method. Thin wefts of 100% human hair are attached to your natural hair using medical-grade adhesive strips that lie flat against the scalp. They’re lightweight, reusable 2-3 times with fresh tape, and last 5-7 months total with proper care. Install takes about 1-2 hours. Best for fine to medium hair.
Maintenance: Every 6-8 weeks
Hand-Tied Wefts
Hand-tied wefts are the premium, most natural-looking method. Wefts of human hair are sewn onto a custom bead-and-thread row secured to your natural hair. No tape, no glue, no heat. The result is lightweight, comfortable, and moves exactly like your own hair. Install takes 2-4 hours depending on rows. Best for medium to thick hair that can support the weight.
Maintenance: Every 8-10 weeks
Clip-In Extensions
Clip-ins are the only DIY-friendly method. Color-matched and custom-cut to blend with your hair, then clipped in by you for events, photos, or anytime you want extra length or volume. Removed at the end of the day and stored for next use. Best for wedding guests, brides, prom, or anyone who wants the flexibility to wear extensions occasionally without a salon visit.
Maintenance: At-home care, trimmed every 6-12 months
Extension Removal
If you have extensions from another salon that need to come out, or yours are ready to be retired, we offer professional removal. Our stylists safely remove any method — tape, hand-tied, fusion, or bonded — without damaging your natural hair. Removal is often paired with a deep conditioning treatment to restore any stressed sections.
